Before you decide review your values
We all have wants, needs and desires. These feelings indicate what we value most. But, sometimes, wants, needs and desires come into conflict, and we must decide where to invest our time and attention.
No one can do everything at once. So, when a conflict arises, take the tie to think about your long-term values before you make a decision about where to focus your energy.
Remember, when you focus on one thing, you often must let go of another (atleast for the time being). Ultimately, you must go with the decision that supports your highest values, and will make you happiest, both now and in future.
But, dont delay. Fulfillment and joy await you, after a decision is made
I always review my values before making an important decision

Today Can demonstrate to yourself, Attituted affects Motivation
So what's the difference? It's still you! All that's changed is your own attitude and motivation level.
Attitude affects motivation
Our thoughts affect our actions, our attitude affects our motivation so it's important to know a what other factors affect how we feel.
Changing state
It can take real effort to create a negative attitude. Making those shoulders sag is a good start. Then you might start talking in a melancholy voice - that usually helps. To become more positive, you merely reverse the things that cause those negative attitudinal feelings.!
Triggers to emotion
I love music, and have quite a collection, ranging from Joni Mitchel, through Isaac Hayes, Jacques Lousier, dance, salsa, Chicago House, oh, and Meatloaf!
Now I drive to work every day, it's around 50 miles each way, so I keep the local radio on for company. Of course, I know the road well so tend to use the time to mentally prepare myself for the day. And yet, quite often I'll find that a piece of music that's on in the background will trigger a memory or emotion in me without me consciously thinking about it at all. I could list dozens of examples. Printable ones include warm beaches, first date, defining moments in my life. Wherever I am, and whatever I'm doing, when these pieces of music play, I'm taken straight back in time and relive these emotions.
In Anthony Robbin's book "Ultimate power", he calls these experiences "anchors". I prefer the term "trigger", because what's happening here is simply that my subconscious is taking elements from a past experience and replaying the emotion that went with that experience. Powerful, isn't it?
Doing it for yourself
I've a suspicion that you, my reader, will have pieces of music that trigger positive emotions. Or another sound, a smell, a certain look from a stranger. Can you identify any right now? If you can, great, if not, don't worry, the time will come when one will come up on the radio or in the supermarket. When it does, commit it to your conscious memory.
Why? It's simple: these triggers happen automatically when a set of circumstances occur. Guess what, they also happen if you consciously think of the trigger. Try it when you're having a tough day. Think of one of your empowering pieces of music and feel the change in your mood!
Use this technique in your daily life and I promise, you need never have a bad day again!
The ultimate energised state
This takes time, and when I've used these techniques, it's been in groups, where people can feed off the raw emotion of others. However, I have a belief that the following technique will work for you, if you believe it's possible and you really work at creating a specific trigger.
Before I give you the technique, here's a story.
Now you know the technique!
It's simple, isn't it? Triggers can be created automatically, by your subconscious. They can also be created consciously, by you! You just need to think of a time in your life when you really felt you were on a roll, define or redefine that memory with the richness of the moment (the sights, sounds, smell, touch etc) and commit it to become your personal "power" trigger.
Whenever you need to feel powerful, that emotion will be there waiting for you, at your command. All you need to do is create the trigger mechanism.
Creating your personal trigger
You must be in a relaxed state to do this. Close your eyes, be aware of your body and how you are breathing. Gradually take deeper breaths, listening and concentrating only on the sound of your own breathing.
Now, with your eyes still closed, think of that defining moment in your life, the time when you felt at your best, when nothing could stop you. Remember how it felt, how good it was, the emotions, the confidence. Powerful, focused, unstoppable.
Bring the emotions of the day back into your mind, and keeping the feeling, deepen your breathing, tensing your muscles a little as you do. After a few seconds, gradually release the tension, take one final deep breath then open your eyes.
Do this many times. Each time you open your eyes, clap your hands hard together, so that the palms of your hands sting. The more times you do this, your subconscious will start to create the trigger of "stinging hands=powerful positive emotion". Over time, you'll be able to command that emotion at will, simply be clapping your hands!
How long does this take
Give it time, and believe it can happen. Then it will. Remember, our thoughts affect our actions, if we believe something will work, it will.
Conclusion
Today you can demonstrate to yourself that you can change your emotional state at will. By looking in your mind for positive memories you can change from a paralysing state into an empowered state.
"The way you think, governs the way you act. There are more than one way to think and more than one way to act." Have a Positive Attitude
-By Prof. Charles Handy
There is a very old paradigm that everyone should have a positive attitude (PA). It is very easy to say but practically it is very difficult to have the positive attitude (PA) every time. Even people who have positive attitudes may have negative attitude in the future, when a problem or crisis arises. The lack of positive attitude is the root cause of tension, anxiety, demoralization, nervousness and depression. Now a day almost everybody is in tension. Students have the problems regarding studies, and examinations. Therefore, they are always in tension. Employees are tensed because of job dissatisfaction. Some have the family and personal problems of finance and compatibility. This does not mean that people would not like to be happy. They know the benefits of having the positive attitude (PA) like:-
Feeling life full of joy.
When someone has the PA he/she will have a joyful life and enjoys every moment of the life.
Have new innovative and great new ideas through self-brainstorming.
With the cool mind you will be able to have new innovative and great ideas to work upon that and get success and happiness in the life.
Feel comfort even with constraints.
Everybody has some constraints in the life but that does not mean that one should does not have the right to feel the comfort. Feel the life full of comforts and joy without worrying about the constraints. Take some time to think about the limitations that you have in life and try to find the best possible way to overcome this.
Look younger and smarter.
Everybody wants the company of people who are full of joy and energy. Your PA will help you to increase your networking, as this will provide another way to expand your business. So, by adopting the PA you will look younger and smarter.
Steal attention of others.
Nobody would like to talk with the depressed one. When you are happy, you automatically steal the attention of others. So, be evergreen. No matter whatever is the season viz. happiness or sorrows but be happy and always have the PA to steal the attention of others.
Good positive and fulfilling relationships
Feeling more energetic.
More happiness.
Greater inner power and strength.
Helps achieving goals and attaining success.
Success achieved faster and more easily.
The ability to inspire and motivate yourself and others.
The ability to surmount any difficulty.
Fewer difficulties encountered along the way.
Life smiles at you.
People respect you
………………………………………………………….
The list is very long and may be endless.
One way to have the PA is to follow the 'Bhagwadgita' which says: "Jo hua accha hua, jo ho raha hai accha ho raha hai, aur jo hoga wo bhi accha hoga" (Whatever has happened, that was good. Whatever is happening, that is good and whatever will happen, that will e good).
This shows the pure positive attitude. Can we follow this in reality? Are we able to use this in the same way as mentioned in Bhagwadgita? The answer is 'NO' for majority of people.
To focus at PA in another way is 'The Gandhism' of Mahatma Gandhi which says the do not fight and love people, a day will come when the other person will start loving you. But this needs the expression of love and lots of patience, as this may take time. It requires loads of patience and endless care for all people.
But now a day, this Gandhism seems to be failed because for the knowledge workers in the age of globalization, glocalization, marketization, hedonism, social dynamics, patience is on the wane.
If the answer of the question "How to have the PA?" remains unanswered, the answer may one of several different models/ways and different people may have different solutions.
The 'Mantras' for having the PA are:
Choose to be happy.
Associate yourself with happy people.
Look at the bright side of life.
Find reasons to smile more often.
Choose to be and stay optimistic.
Have faith in yourself and in the Power of the Universe.
Contemplate upon the futility of negative thinking and worries.
Read inspiring quotes.
Read inspiring stories.
Repeat affirmations that inspire and motivate you.
Visualize only what you want to happen.
Learn to master your thoughts.
Learn concentration and meditation.
The path to have the PA can be found through a three-step approach:
Awareness
Acceptance
Attitude
Awareness
The first step to have PA is to be aware of what and how we are thinking. We must train ourselves to be aware at all times of how our mind is working – the thoughts, thinking patterns and tendencies. Make this a habit. Yes, it is difficult; the meditation technique helps us do this.
Acceptance
When we are aware of something we tend to become judgmental and critical of ourselves or of others. This has the danger of sending us into a vicious cycle of negativity UNLESS we learn to accept what we see and understand. Have an attitude that "it is ok" to think how we are. This acceptance leads to a genuine love and compassion, which forms the bedrock of positive thinking.
Attitude
Once we have accepted what lies within our thoughts, we can actually start working upon how we 'want' to look at that particular person, situation or thing. Let us look at changing attitude with the following example. Suppose you have a negative attitude toward someone. So much so that he puts you in a bad mood the moment you see him. For a moment, find just one small thing or quality in him that you do like. Now remember that one positive thing whenever you meet or interact with him. Gradually, you will see that your feelings towards him will become more positive and things start looking up.
Following these three guidelines and you will find yourself becoming more positive.
In short, you must:
"Think about the problem and act smartly".
Meaning there y, whenever you have a problem, just think about the problem with the cool mind, definitely you will get a solution and act according to that smartly.
"Change you mind-set".
As the change is the only constant in this world because the world is changing with new technologies, processes, systems, etc. We have to run fast to remain at the same place otherwise others will overtake you. So, keep changing yourself as the world changes.
The life and the problems are very much related. Life without problems means lifelessness. Life is just like a sea where water rises and falls. Sometimes water flows slowly and sometimes rapidly like waves on the sea shore. Similarly, life is there. Sometimes you have problems and after getting solved you are joyful and happy.
Remember that every cell in the body also experiences every thought generated in the mind. That is why on a 'good' day you feel yourself exercising better with more flexibility, while on a 'bad' day you feel stiff and lethargic.
Therefore, don't be a coward, be brave and face the problems. This is a part of life. Whenever, you have any problem just start thinking about the problem, how you can solve this crisis with a cool mind and in doing this you should have loads of massive patience. One day you will arrive at the solution and you will be able to solve your problem. That day will be yours day, the 'day of delightful salvation'.

Positive Attitude Story, Happiness and Contentment by Napoleon Hill
Attitude, positive or negative, influences everything. Success, happiness- all starts with the mind. There is very little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative.
Napoleon Hill wrote an article called" Contentment" .
It all starts with a positive mental attitude. Happiness is attracted with what and how you see the world. Positive mental attitude will attract health, wealth and happiness you desire. And a positiveattitude consists of such characteristics as faith, hope, charity, optimism, cheer, generosity.

Enjoy.
" The richest man in the world lives in Happy Valley.
He is rich in values that endure, in things he cannot lose.
Here is an inventory of his riches and how he acquired them:
I found happiness by helping others find it.
I found sound health by living temperately and eating only the food my body requires to maintain itself.
I hate no man, envy no man, but love and respect all mankind.
I am engaged in a labor of love with which I mix play generously; therefore I seldom grow tired.
I pray daily, not for more riches, but for more wisdom with which to recognize, embrace and enjoy the great abundance of riches I already possess.
I speak no name save only to honor it, and I slander no man for any cause for whatsoever
I ask no favors of anyone except the privilege of sharing my blessings with all who desire them.
I am on good terms with my conscience; therefore, it guides me accurately in everything I do.
I have more material wealth than I need because I am free from greed and covet only those things I can use constructively while I live.
My wealth comes from those whom I have benefited by sharing my blessings.
The estate of happy valley which I own I not taxable. It exists mainly in my own mind, in intangible riches that cannot be assessed for taxation and appropriated except by those who adopt my way of life.
I created this estate over a lifetime of effort by observing nature's law and forming habits to conform with them."
Precious Possession
Some time ago a man punished his 5-year-old daughter for wasting a
roll of expensive gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and he became even more upset when the child pasted the gold paper so as to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree.
Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift box to her father the
next morning and said, "This is for you, Daddy." The father was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction, but his anger flared again when he found the box was empty.
He spoke to her in a harsh manner,"Don't you know, young lady, when you give someone a present there's supposed to be something inside the package?"
The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said, "Oh, Daddy,
it's not empty. I blew kisses into it until it was full." The father
was crushed.
He fell on his knees and put his arms around his little girl, and he begged her to forgive him for his unnecessary anger.
An accident took the life of the child only a short time later and it
is told that the father kept that gold box by his bed for all the years of his life. And whenever he was discouraged or faced difficult problems he would open the box and take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there. In a very real sense, each of us as human beings have been given a golden box filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, family, friends and God.
There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.
