When you keep people waiting, it's irritating and makes others feel that you think you're more important. Being late is one of the worst Career Limiting Moves a person can make. If tardiness is your rule rather than the exception, it's time to pay close attention to your clocks and watch. Time counts:
- when you are expected at work.
- when you are meeting someone.
- when you have to attend a meeting.
- when you have deadlines for assignments or projects.
Don't allow yourself to make excuses and you will save those you work with a great deal of aggravation. Be memorable because of your courteous, timely behavior. People are watching.
